B I O G R A P H Y S U S A N T O N E Y CD Baby has signed artist Susan Toney to a worldwide digital distribution deal (I Tunes Music Store, Last.fm Radio, Napster,Verizon, Amazon, etc.) for her new album Strange Child ©2007, 2009 recorded with Michael T. Mancini, the multi-platinum producer-engineer-mixer (Whitney Houston, Lionel Richie, Ray Charles, Billy Joel, The Killers, Toni Braxton etc.) Strange Child was recorded and produced, engineered and mixed in LA at Hollywood Sound Recorders, Hollywood, CA and Pompei Sound Studios, Henderson, Nevada by Michael T. Mancini (multi-platinum producer-engineer-mixer (Whitney Houston, Lionel Richie, Ray Charles, Billy Joel, The Killers, Toni Braxton etc.). Songs recorded at Sonora Recorders, were co-produced by Richard Barron, Chad Watson and Susan Toney. The songs recorded at Hollywood Sound Recorders feature top session players from LA, including greats, Lou Pardini, Abe Laboriel Sr., Doug Bossi, Sergio Gonzalez and Scott Mayo. The songs recorded at Sonora Recorders, feature a handful of top session players from New York and LA, including Jeff Pevar, Greg Leisz, Chad Watson, Arno Lucas, Vail Johnson and Land Richards on cut 11, Bryan Ray, Skip Edwards, recording artist Lauren Wood and Jean McLain. The new album Strange Child features Susan Toney (lead vocals, keyboard and guitar), with greats Lou Pardini (arrangements, piano, keyboards, BG vocals-Endless Love), Abe Laboriel Sr. (bass-Sinatra, Alonis Morrisett), Doug Bossi (electric guitar, acoustic guitar-Alonis Morrisett), Sergio Gonzalez (drums-Alonis Morrisett) and Scott Mayo (BG vocals-James Taylor, Rolling Stones) on cuts 1, 4, 10 and 13. Susan’s will be touring and opening for major artists, with her new CD Strange Child. Susan has been the featured performer at major music conferences, festivals, fundraisers and local venues in the United States Canada and many of the top music venues in Los Angeles and Orange County. In addition to live performance, Susan has gained local and national exposure on major market and independent radio and is approached by radio programmers, both commercial and non-commercial, who request to add her to their play list.
